    The Ruins

The Ruins was a mansion that was built in 1900's by the sugar baron, Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson for his wife. The mansion was the largest in Negros in its time. Unfortunately, the mansion was burned during World War II, thus met its sad fate. Today, however, travelers and tourists witness the remains of the once grand mansion.

Outside is a spacious garden with a fountain at the side of the ruins and a cafe or restaurant at the front, while inside is a souvenir shop and some memorabilia displays with photos of the Don Mariano Ledesma Lacson and his wife. The second level of the ruins is closed at the moment we visit it.
